Terms of use

This site is one person's, and everything on it is free to use. This page says what using it means: what you can expect of it, and what it expects of you.

It describes how the site is built rather than restating law. Each product adds to this page below, and nothing a product adds takes anything here back.

What this is

A personal site with a small suite of products on it, built and run by one person in their own time.

There is no company behind it, nothing to buy, and no paid tier. Using it costs nothing and buys nothing.

Your account

You sign in with an account you already hold somewhere else. That account is yours and its provider's; this site is only told who you are.

The account here is one person's. Sharing it hands over everything it can reach, including whatever you share with other people.

What is done through your account is treated as done by you.

An account here is for people aged 18 or older.

Using it

Use the products for what they are for. Do not use them to harass, deceive or harm anybody, and do not put anything here that you have no right to hold.

Do not try to reach records that are not yours, break the site, or drive load at it beyond ordinary use.

An account doing any of that can be ended without warning.

What is shared, and what is yours

Anything you do alongside other people is shared with them. They can read it, and in some products they can change it. What you put in a shared place is not private to you, and ending your account later does not take it back.

Your own details stay yours. Your account page hands you a copy of everything held about you, and lets you end the account behind what you did — the records keep the username they always carried.

What is not promised

That it keeps running. It may go down, change or stop entirely, with or without notice.

That anything is kept. There is no backup to ask for and no recovery if something is lost. Do not put anything here you cannot afford to lose, and do not let this be the only copy of anything that matters.

That anybody is on hand. Questions are read when they are read.

It is offered as it is, and what it does is what these pages describe.

As far as the law allows, liability for anything that comes from using the site, or from not being able to, is limited to what you paid for it, which is nothing.

Ending it

You can leave a product, or delete the account outright, from your account page at any time. What becomes of your records then is on the privacy page.

An account can also be ended from this side, for the reasons above. Where that would take away something other people share, their records stay under the username they always carried.

When this changes

These terms can change. The date at the foot of the page says when they last did.

There is no notice, and no version of this page is kept where you can read it. Using the site after a change is the only signal there is.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, where the site is run from.

That takes away none of the protection the law where you live gives you.
